  1. JAYAH may be a leader in "Pole Walking" but her website sells twist-locking poles - many are three-piece poles with two twist-locks (one twist-lock is a concern, but two equal double trouble).

Jayah should know that individuals with balance issues would be much better served with one-piece poles sized correctly to each individual's height. Also, real Nordic Walking Straps eliminate the need to squeeze and grip the poles. Real Nordic Walking Straps (kind of a fingerless glove type strap) are utilized on the best xc ski poles and allow skiers plus walkers to apply pressure through the heel of the hand and into the cradle of the strap. The best straps are patented by the Salomon Ski Company.

One-piece poles are proven to be safer, lighter and much more durable than cheap twist-locking adjustable length/telescoping/collapsible poles.

Walking with poles is the best and Nordic Walking is ideal for ALL ages and ALL fitness levels.

    Have FUN Nordic Walking,
